I'm not a dancer

I don't dance. Not in front of people.
But I did it. I actually got up on stage in front of my school, in front my peers who often make me anxious and I had the time of my life.
I was kinda pushed into doing this dance. I kind of had to. But I was also like, hey, it'll be fun. So I did it. And it was hard. But I don't regret it a bit.
Hours upon hours of stressful practices at midnight and crying because I didn't look good in the costume because of my size and I still don't regret partaking in this. I'm actually more excited than ever to do this again. And I'm seriously considering joining a dance team or something. Just because. I have never felt so exhilarated and confident as when I was up on that stage dancing my heart out to songs I dreamt of dancing to.
So if you have the opportunity to do something that scares you, but also excites and interests you, do it. As cliche as it sounds, life is short. It's short. It whizzes by us. Trust me, I've been trying to do my math homework for the past 6 hours.
I can say that this seemingly minuscule event in my life has actually affected it a lot. I've grown as a person. And I feel like I sound like some self-help counselor or something. I sound so cliche but it's true. There are some things that can change you and just take every opportunity you get.

SHOES SHOES SHOES

More haulin'!! I hope to get a new outfit post up soon but honestly, I've been wearing the same pjs for days now. The weather's horrid and I'm so not leaving the house. Twin Peaks marathons and Dramione fics for days please.
The BIGGEST bargain of my life probably were the shoes I got at Urban Outfitters. I got four different pairs of shoes for under $40.  I'm not sure if there's still a sale going on, but when I checked out the website the same night I went to Urban Outfitters, the same shoes were at least $10 cheaper in store than online.
These babies were $6.99. And they're velvet!

Yeah..they're size 10 and a bit uncomfortable. BUT I was not gonna pass on these for $10!!

These beauts were $10 as well.

THESE PLATFORM BABIES WERE $4.99 YEAH THANKS. I checked online to see how much they were originally and they were around like £160?
We also stopped by at Nordstorm. It was my first time actually buying things from here and I found some really great pieces. I love this bright orange slightly cropped turtle neck sweater. I found it in the dressing room and I figured I might as well try it on. I immediately fell in love. It has a really comfortable, over-sized fit and gives off a 70s vibe.
I got some other tops but I couldn't really get good pictures of em.
I honestly don't know why I got these socks but whatever. They're knee high batman socks and like...I don't know how I'm gonna work 'em.
Again, another thing I don't know why I got it. It was on sale and I liked the "varsity jacket" detailing on it. I got it from Forever 21.
EVERYONE NEEDS CUTE UNDERWEAR. 4 for $19 at Urban Outfitters and I could not pass.

Hope everyone is having a happy new year!
